Homeschooling Websites

CK-12

This is a good site for both students and parents.  Students can get online and study anything from math to Science and English, and the age ranges literally go from K-12 grades.  They offer online textbooks, a plus if the student is OK with reading online.  Parents can make an online classroom and ,assign items to the child.  You can check the child's progress, make quizzes, view their progress. ETC.  Like stated above, the age ranges go from K-12 and  they offer online textbooks.  It's really good and I really like it.  With my daughter being older, I can pretty much assign her work, and sit back and watch.

Khan Academy
This one is a lot like

Mrs. Wingo's 5th Grade Flipped Classroom!
This link goes directly to the page that has a downloadable math textbook for 5th graders. (for free)

Super Teacher Worksheets
You can find practice worksheets of almost any kind here: math, reading & writing, phonics & early literacy, handwriting, grammar, spelling, science, social studies, holidays, you name it- they might have it.  With these kids of sites I find it useful to download in sections so I can just pull what I need when I need it, rather than having to go back and find something on a site.  (And sometimes the site I want no longer exists!)  The only problem with this site is that only some of the worksheets are free.

Mrs. Paino's 5th Grade Class

This link goes directly to the page that has downloadable textbooks for 5th graders- history, social studies, math and science. (for free)

6th Grade Social Studies
Everything you need for a complete social studies work year or more. Downloadable textbooks, corresponding ebooks, and more. (for free)

~~~With much of the free content, especially textbooks, I like to download a copy just in case the site or xontent is no longer  available later on.
